NetID - Activating Your Account

NetIDs are used to access many campus applications and services like the dial-up modem pool, My UW-Madison, Web Enrollment, WiscMail, and WiscCal. All students, faculty, and staff should activate their NetID as soon as possible upong entering the university. Instructions for activating differ for students and faculty/staff.

Apple computers running Mac OS 10.5 or higher can join the Campus Active Directory Domain using the Directory Utility or a Terminal command.
