Locating your Windows Version

Here is a simple way to find what version of Windows you are running
  1. Locate the search box in the start bar
  2. Type Run and hit Enter (sometimes called Return)
  3. In the box that pops up type winver then hit Enter again
  4. A box will pop up that shows the version of Windows the computer is running
