WiscCal syncing issues are believed to have been resolved by emergency database maintenance that was done Tuesday evening. SyncML should once again be working.
Database maintenance completed successfully and SyncML appears to once again be working successfully this morning. However, the WiscCal techs are actively monitoring the service in case problems return. If you encounter trouble with WiscCal, please contact the Help Desk.
At the recommendation of Oracle, emergency database maintenance has been scheduled for 7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. The database maintenance is estimated to be complete by 10:00 PM.
For affected users, syncing may fail between PDAs and WiscCal as well as between Outlook and WiscCal if the Oracle Connector for Outlook is installed.
SyncML users may receive some type of server busy error (e.g. SyncML error 503). Oracle Connector for Outlook users may see synchronization errors and in some cases updates to their calendar may not occur.
