This document covers how to connect to WiscVPN using the native VPN client in OSX 10.6. For information on how to setup the native client, see: WiscVPN (Mac) - Configuring Native Client
There are two ways to connect to WiscVPN using the native OSX client. The default way is to do the following:Open the System Preferences. This can be done by either clicking on the System Preferences icon in the Dock or by going to Apple Menu -> System Preferences.
Open the network pane by clicking the Network icon.
Select the VPN connection you created in WiscVPN (Mac) - Configuring the Native Client in the left panel.
In the main panel on the right, enter your NetID username and password
Click the Connect button.
To disconnect, follow the same steps above, but click the Disconnect button in the main pane of your VPN connection.
