This document contains the list of recommended systems and web browsers for use with Shared Financial Systems (SFS).

The browser's default settings are compatible with SFS.
Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or greater is strongly recommended. SFS does produce report output in PDF format.
The Safari browser will not work with Report to Window functionality in SFS.
If you are using Internet Explorer and Report to Window functionality, add https://portal.sfs.wisconsin.edu and https://reports.sfs.wisconsin.edu to your trusted sites. Please see the following DoIT Help Desk document for setting up trusted sites in IE Internet Explorer - Trusting a Web Site.
