DoIT supports Windows Vista and Windows XP. Assistance with earlier versions of Windows is limited. We recommend users of old versions upgrade to Windows XP.

DoIT supports Mac OS 10.4.x and 10.5.x. For earlier versions we recommend an upgrade.

DoIT provides varying forms of user assistance with the personal computing applications we sell, distribute or recommend. Supported software includes Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Software Packages, Symantec Virus Protection, and many others. See our Commercial Software Support Policy. DoIT also provides a variety of training options for students and staff.

Security

The DoIT Help Desk offers information on detecting and removing viruses, spyware, and other threats that have been reported, as well as preventative steps you can take to secure your computer against future attacks.

Hardware Upgrade and Repair

DoIT technicians can upgrade or repair computers and peripherals. You can bring items to the service desk in the Tech Store, 1210 West Dayton Street, between 7:45 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
