If Discussion forums and topics are copied from another course via Copy Components, they may not display in the same order in the destination course as in the source course.
If the forums and topics were ever re-ordered in the source course, they will display in the destination course in the order of their original creation rather than their order at the time they were copied.
This is a known issue.
After copying from another course, inspect the Discussion forums and topics, and re-order them manually as desired.
