Learn@UW - Using Math Notation in Learn@UW


Learn@UW (Desire2Learn) supports a wide variety of mathematical symbols and notation. Specifically, the equation editor located within the HTML editor allows for WYSIWYG composing of notation used in algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and set theory. Additionally, special characters such as operators, comparison operators, and Greek can be displayed.

The Equation Editor allows instructors and students to compose mathematical notation anywhere the HTML editor is available including within the News, Content, Quiz and Discussion tools.
