Learn@UW (UW-Madison Only) - Requesting a course that is not automatically created (future, non-timetable)

There are three paths to obtaining a new Learn@UW course:

1. This document describes the process for requesting a new Learn@UW course for either a future timetable course or a non-timetable course, or a timetable course that is not automatically created.
2. To activate a timetable course in the current semester please see Activating a Current Semester Course.
3. To copy a course from a previous semester and activate the current course please see Copying a Course from a Previous Semester.

UW-Madison instructors can request a new Learn@UW course by completing and submitting the course request form at: https://learnuw.wisc.edu/forms/d2lrequest.asp

Instructors should complete separate requests for each course that is needed. Please be prepared to supply your NetID, department name and number, and a name for the course.
Email notification will be sent when the course is available (generally within 48 hours).

Note that future courses will need to be activated following the instructions in Activating a Current Semester Course when the semester arrives.
