My WebSpace - WebDAV and Macintosh OS 10.4 and Later

This document describes how to use the WebDAV interface for Macintosh OS 10.4.

You can now connect directly to your My WebSpace account using WebDAV and your Macintosh with OS 10.4 and later, without having to use the Goliath client.

To set up your WebDAV connection, first click anywhere on the desktop, then select the Go menu, and then Connect to Server.

Select Go -> Connect to Server

Add the following server https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/NetID (replacing NetID with your UW Madison NetID).
NOTE: Make sure you include the 's' (https://) in the address!

You will then be prompted for your username and password. Please enter your UW Madison NetID and password.

When you have successfully logged in, a WebDAV icon (with your NetID underneath it) will appear on your desktop and a window will open with your My WebSpace account directories.

You can now access these directories just as if they were located on your local drive.

To disconnect your WebDAV connection, just drag and drop the WebDAV icon to your trash.
