CAP EX (SoE Only) - Recommended Computer Configurations

This article details the recommended configurations for CAP EX computers for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.

The following configurations are being recommended for the upcoming Capital Exercise. All items on this page will be done as a bulk order after the awards have been finalized. Macintosh Computers

When you pick the model and size of a Mac that you like, there aren't very many choices that you have to make after that, so we do not have a set recommended spec for Macs. We do require that any Mac have at least 2 GB of RAM, and would recommend ordering 4 GB. We also require that AppleCare be purchased for all Mac computers. DoIT has several premade options that you can look at here:

• Laptop

If you need something different than what you see there, we can create a custom spec as well. Once you have put together what you would like, please forward that information to Jason or Zach
