Applied Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics (AMEP) is exactly what it sounds like: a specialized bachelor of science degree program comprised of concentrations in each of math, physics, and any department in the College of Engineering. Despite its demanding curricula, AMEP is designed to be completed in four years.

Admission into AMEP usually requires a 3.0 GPA in introductory courses taken in the Mathematics and Physics Departments. After speaking with an advisor, students who are admitted fill out a classification change form to change to the "AMP" designation. This form should be sent or taken to:

Advisors Each student will have three advisors.
  • 1. A major advisor, who is in the Department of Mathematics.
  • 2. A physics advisor, who is in the Department of Physics.
  • 3. An engineering advisor, who is in the department in which the student specializes.
