This document explains what "status" means and how you can modify it.
Status is a string of text that describes your availability.
The default is "Available," meaning you are online or ready to chat. You can change this to "Away" if you want to stay online, but let people know you may not reply. There also is "DnD".
With many clients, you can customize the text that people see for any status type. You can put witty sentences, descriptions of mood, anything you like.
Use the procedures below to change your "status/presence".
To change your status, just click on any one of the existing status messages.
Click on the Status option and the following will appear:
