HP OpenView Service Desk - Signing Up for Change Request Email Alerts for a Configuration Item


This document explains how to sign up for change request email alerts for configuration items (CI). Once you have signed up for email alerts for a CI, you will receive an email notification whenever a change request is filed for it.

Signing Yourself up for Email Alerts

  1. Login to the Service Desk Server Alerts website.
  2. Select the Configuration Items that you would like to receive notifications for and then click the Save button.

Viewing a List of People Signed Up for Email Alerts for a CI

  1. Login to the Service Desk Server Alerts website.
  2. Click the name of a CI to view the subscription list.

Modifying your Email Address in Service Desk

  1. Modify the e-mail address in your Person CI record.
  2. See the Service Desk Users Guide for instructions.
