I’m having trouble with my computer. Who do I go to for support?

There are many paths for support here on campus, and this document outlines the preferred path that Science Hall residents should use.

If the documents in this Knowledge Base don't answer your question, please see which of the following best works for you-

DoIT Help Desk staff support a wide variety of services, such as WiscMail, WiscCal, and NetID issues for users of Windows and Macintosh computers. That includes a check-in service for operating system reinstallation and virus removal by the Advanced Desktop Support team (ADS). Repair and Desktop Support (RaDS), another team associated with the Help Desk, does hardware repair for both in- and out-of-warranty Dell and Apple computers (a service fee may apply).

For details on support provided by the Help Desk, ADS, and RaDS, please contact them directly.

Contact the DoIT Help Desk by phone, email or in person:

For support particular to Science Hall (support on departmental servers or workstations, accounts on Science Hall servers, Instructional Technology support or Computer Labs support) please submit a request using our online tracking system. You can find out how in this KB doc.
