Voice mail users have the ability to change the number of rings heard by the caller before a call is transferred to voice mail.
The standard number of rings before a call is transferred to voice mail is 3 rings. This can be changed to as little as 1 ring or as many as 9 rings. To make changes, please email DoIT Voice Services at voice.services@doit.wisc.edu.
