WiscList - Confirming Subscribes/Unsubscribes


WiscList list administrators can configure their list to confirm subscribe and/or unsubscribe requests in order to prevent unintentional subscribes or unsubscribes.

  1. Log into the WiscList ListManager interface. (See: WiscList - Logging into WiscList)

  2. Verify the list you want to work with is selected. (See: WiscList - Working with Multiple Lists)

  3. Click the Utilities button on the left side of the interface to open the Utilities submenu.

  4. Highlight List Settings, then select New Subscriber Policy.

  5. You will see a screen that has settings for subscribe/unsubscribe confirmation:

    subscribe/unsubscribe

  6. To configure your list so that subscription requests require e-mail confirmation, set Confirm subscribes to yes.

  7. To configure your list so that unsubscription requests require e-mail confirmation, set Confirm unsubscribes to Require confirmation for all email unsubscriptions.

  8. Click Save to save your changes.
