- Hostname: ldap.services.wisc.edu
- Base DN: dc=wisc,dc=edu

- Click OK.
- Click OK again.
- Make sure that Directory Server is checked and
wiscmail ldap is selected in the drop down menu.
- Click OK.

Using Directory Services
In Thunderbird, addresses will auto complete when filling out the "to:" and "cc:"
field in a new message. The results will appear in a drop down below the field you
are typing in.
Another way to perform a search is the following:
- Open the address book by going to Tools | Address Book.
- Select wiscmail ldap in the left pane, and enter the name you
are looking for in the Name or Email contains: field.
- The results will appear below.

In some instances, you may experience problems with auto-completion. If so, please review the following document: http://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=5032
