Data Sets Provided by Cloud Providers
Providing a Public Data Set
Cloud providers have programs to host and sometimes sponsor the cost of storage for publicly available "high value" data set. Typically, the cloud providers define "high value" as data that will be used by many people, rather than unique or high impact data sets in a particular field.
Our partners in Research Data Services can consult on additional options, including data repositories offered by the UW. They are also an excellent resource to consult on data stewardship and requirements from research funders.
The other providers don't have specific information about data sponsorship programs, but the links above have information on submitting a data set.
