UW-Madison Zoom - Errors related to Single Sign-On (SSO)

This document describes some of the errors that can occur related to single sign-on (SSO) with UW-Madison Zoom.

Technologists are aware of several errors related to SSO, but not all are currently documented. Error descriptions will be updated as additional information becomes available.

"Something went wrong while you tried signing in with SSO"

A user who needs to consolidate their personal Zoom account with their UW-Madison Zoom account may receive this error if they attempt to log into uwmadison.zoom.us without completing the steps in the Zoom account consolidation instructions. Particularly, users must be sure to click Switch to the new account in the verification email received from Zoom in their @wisc.edu account as part of the consolidation process.
