School of Human Ecology Funding Opportunities

As part of Dean Shim's ongoing support of the of research activities to meet the School's Strategic Goal #1: Increase productivity in research, scholarship, and sponsored programs,the following opportunities are handled as internal competitions and are coordinated by the Associate Dean for Research and the Research Core team. Each opportunity outlines the the eligibility requirements and the process for submitting an application.

Research Incentive Funding Opportunities

Emergent Need Research Funding

Purpose: To support faculty members' research expenses that are immediate or foundational in nature and may be needed to enhance competitiveness for preliminary or larger grant applications or scholarly activities.

Eligibility: Applications may be submitted by tenure-track faculty members from the School of Human Ecology.

Funding Level: Maximum $5,000

Deadline: Rolling
