Safer Badgers - Testing Eligibility and Information
How can I understand more about COVID-19 testing and eligibility on the UW-Madison campus?
Getting Tested
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is now performing its new rapid, saliva-based COVID-19 test.
All university faculty, staff and students participating in any on-campus activities are required to participate in the on-campus COVID-19 testing program. An effective testing program is a crucial part of minimizing the spread of COVID-19.
Cost
The test is free.
Eligibility
The test, and the app, are only available to current students, faculty and staff at UW-Madison who have active NetIDs.
Emeritus are not currently eligible to use the app. For more information, please see: Are emeritus faculty/staff expected to comply with the faculty/staff testing requirements?
Locations
A number of free on-campus COVID-19 walk-up testing locations are available.
