How to Enable CloudFax Sending in Microsoft Outlook 365

The UW has retired physical fax machines, and switched over to a virtual faxing service called CloudFax. To send faxes, you compose an email and then send it to a vendor – Concord Technologies. Their software converts your email over to fax format and sends it on to its destination.

The UW has retired physical fax machines, and switched over to a virtual faxing service called CloudFax. 

To send faxes, you compose an email and then send it to a vendor – Concord Technologies.  Their software converts your email over to fax format and sends it on to its destination.  

Important: Before you can use the service for the first time, you must login to your email account and enable CloudFax sending. This is a one-time step.  

Steps 

 
  1. Login to https://email.wisc.edu/admin using your NetID credentials. 

  1. Click My Account. 

  1. Click CloudFax from the left-side menu. 

  1. Click Status. 

  1. Click the Enable CloudFax Sending button. 

    Note: 
    This button will not appear if you are already enabled for this service. The screen will indicate you are already enabled.

     6. After enabling CloudFax sending, you may need to refresh the page to show the sending capability has been enabled for your account.

      7. You can now send faxes using your primary Microsoft Office 365 email account.
