Can I use GI Bill funds for non-credit classes?

Almost all CE courses that are non-credit will not be accepted for GI Bill funds, unless pre-approved for a class has been obtained from the Federal VA through the University of Wisconsin Veterans Services Student Affairs Office. Students are more likely to have courses and reimbursement approved if they can make the case that the course will go towards career change and if the course has been vigorously defined in curriculum, objectives, and agenda.

Resources for learners interested in using veteran's educational benefits can be found through the University Veteran Services Office

DCS staff or learners can contact the University of Wisconsin Veteran Services Office for approval. Courses are only added to the list with student requests and if they hold up to the standards of a "defined" course.
