How to check Windows version for your machine

This KB reviews the steps to see what version number any given Windows computer is on. For assistance with this article, please contact the End User Computing (EUC) team.

Type "winver" into the Windows Search bar and click Enter on your keyboard.  A window with the version number will appear. See below for a visual demonstration.
