UW-Madison Google Workspace - Age-restricted experience for select Google Services

Students under 18 will experience restrictions in some Google services when signed in to their Google Workspace for Education account. Some services aren't available for students under 18.

Non-core apps such as YouTube, Google Search, and more will provide a restricted experience or no access for individuals under 18. Learn more: https://support.google.com/a/answer/10651918 .

Core apps will continue to be accessible and will not be impacted by age-restrictions.

Note: Students under 18 who need to install the HonorLock extension from the Chrome Web Store will not be able to use their UW-Madison Google Workspace account. While individuals can use a personal Google account to install the extension, we don't recommend using consumer accounts for university activity. Learn more about the differences between using a personal Google account and a UW-Madison Google Workspace account.
