Library Dashboard Course Resources
The Library Dashboard can also be customized to include course resources. A message visible only to instructors in the dashboard provides a path for instructors to request course resources. If an instructor requests a library instruction session or course resources they will be integrated into the Library Dashboard automatically. Optional course resources include:
- Librarian Profile: Contact information for the librarian(s) teaching a library session for your course. To request that a librarian profile be added to your course, fill out the instruction request form.
- Course Reading List: UW-Madison Library materials such as books, textbooks, articles, videos, solution sets, and exams that an instructor has selected for use by students enrolled in a specific course are placed “on reserve” at the UW-Madison Libraries. Course Reading Lists provide links to the course materials listed in the library catalog and provide information for students about availability, location, and length of loan period. In cases where the item is an online resource, a link to the ebook or other e-resource is included.
- Course Guide: Guides created for a specific course and customized for the course topic and assignments. Course guides are created upon request and can be used as supplementary material to a library instruction session or as a standalone resource.
