Zoom - Known Issue - External Users Unable to Use Zoom in Canvas [UW-Madison]

Users with NetIDs provisioned through Manifest are unable to use the integrated Zoom feature in Canvas courses.

Affects

  • Instructors teaching a course where the Zoom-Canvas integration is used and the students have NetID accounts provisioned using L3 and/or Manifest.
  • Students who have NetID accounts provisioned using L3 and/or Manifest.

Status

This issue is present as of 28 August 2024.

Workaround

Instructors can embed links to Zoom meeting within their Canvas content.
