A department within the College of Engineering which provides professional development (non-credit) via more than 400 continuing education certificates, courses (face-to-face and online) and courses at your site for practicing engineers, architects, and technicians.

On campus, EPD serves undergraduate and graduate credit courses in technical communication and technical Japanese. Off-campus, EPD offers undergraduate and graduate credit courses in technical Japanese, technical Chinese, mechanical engineering (controls and polymers), electrical and computer engineering, chemical and biological engineering and biomedical engineering.

In addition, the department offers master degrees at a distance for professionals (cohort model) in professional practice and engine systems and extended classroom in technical Japanese, polymer engineering and science, electrical and computer engineering and mechanical engineering.
