Settings used to create CTLM PD Zoom meetings

Zoom | Meeting |Settings


  • Require that all meetings are secured with one security option (SELECTED)
    (This is a requirement for Canvas Zoom integration).
  • Waiting Room (DESELECT)
  • Waiting Room Options - NA since we are not using waiting rooms.
  • Require a passcode when scheduling a meeting (SELECTED).
  • Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join (SELECTED).
  • Only authenticated meeting participants can join meetings and webinars (SELECTED).
    • Sign in to Zoom (HIDE IN THE SELECTION)
    • Sign in with (Default) SHOW IN THE SELECTION.
  • Only authenticated users can join meetings from Web client (SELECTED)

Schedule Meeting

  • Host video (SELECTED).
  • Participant video (DESELECTED).
  • Audio Type | Telephone and Computer Audio 
  • Allow participants to join before host (SELECTED).
    • Participants for join 15 MINUTES before start time.
  • Mute participants when they join a meeting (SELECTED).

In Meeting (Basic)

  • Chat (SELECTED).
  • By default, allow participants to chat with (EVERYONE AND ANYONE DIRECTLY).
  • Allow users to save chats from the meeting (SELECTED).
    • Everyone (SELECTED).
  • Allow users to delete messages in meeting chat (SELECTED).
  • Private Chat (SELECTED).
  • Auto saving chats (SELECTED).
  • Sound notification when someone joins or leaves (SELECTED).
    • Play sounds for : HOSTS AND CO-HOSTS ONLY.
  • Send files via meeting chat (SELECTED).

    • Allow host to create advanced polls and quizzes).
  • Always show meeting control toolbar (SELECTED).

    • Who can share when someone else is sharing? HOST ONLY
  • Disable desktop screen sharing for meetings you host (DESELECTED).

    • Allow saving of shared screens with annotations (SELECTED).
  • Whiteboard (SELECTED).
    • Allow saving of whiteboard content (SELECTED).
    • Auto save whiteboard content when sharing is stopped (SELECTED).
      • Save and PNG.

  • Non-verbal feedback (SELECTED).
  • Meeting reactions (SELECTED).
    • Selected emojis (SELECTED).
  • Allow users to change their name when joining a meeting (DESELECT).
  • Allow participants to rename themselves (SELECTED).

  • Report to Zoom (SELECTED).
  • Breakout room (SELECTED).
    • Allow host to assign participants to breakout rooms when scheduling (SELECTED).
    • Allow host to broadcast message to participants (SELECTED).

    • Allow live transcription services to transcribe (SELECTED)
    • Allow viewing of full transcript in the in-meeting side panel (SELECTED).
