HelioCampus AC - Adding Favorites to the HelioCampus AC Menu [UW-Madison]
There are several components within HelioCampus AC. However, many departments at UW-Madison only use HelioCampus AC, to administer and manage their course evaluations and assessment reports. If you are a HelioCampus AC department administrator, you can make navigation easier by marking commonly used components as favorites, then filtering the main menu to only display these favorites.
Mark a component as a favorite
- Click the main menu icon, to display all the HelioCampus components.
- Locate a component you wish to mark.
- Hover your mouse over that component.
- That causes a white star to appear on the right.
- Click on the star. (That turns the star orange.)
Repeat this process for each desired component.
Filter the main menu to show only favorites
Once you have marked your preferred components as favorites, (displaying a gold star), you can now activate the Favorites filter on the main menu.
- Click the main menu icon.
- In the header of the main menu, select the white-star Favorite icon.
That will cause the main menu to only display the components marked as favorite.
To turn off the filter, click the main menu icon again, and select the star Favorite icon again.
