Printing (macOS) - Adding a Copy Code for a Canon Copier
Follow these steps to save a Department ID, or copy code, for a Canon copier.
- Open System Settings (macOS 13 and later) or System Preferences (macOS 12 and earlier).
- Select Printers & Scanners.
- Select the Canon copier.
If you do not see the copier in your list of printers, see Printing (macOS) - Adding a Printer from Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for steps to connect.
- Click Options & Supplies...
- Go to the Utility tab and click Open Printer Utility.
If you do not see the Utility tab, contact the TechZone for assistance.
- Click Printer Information.
- Once you see the Printer Information popup, click OK to close it.
- Check the Use Department ID Management checkbox OR in the "User Management" dropdown, select Department ID Management.
- Enter your copy code into the "Department ID" field.
- Click Save Settings.
