These instructions are for how to change your CAE password if you already have access to your CAE account. If you have forgotten your current username or password, instructions on how to recover or reset them can be found here.

NEVER EVER use a link that is sent to you to reset your password. This is how the bad guys get your information (sending a fake link that asks you to log in; it is called phishing)

To change your password, you will need to do the following:

1. Navigate to my.cae.wisc.edu and log in using your CAE account and DUO (Note this is NOT your Wisc account or NetID DUO

     2. Once you have logged in, click "Account Details" on the left side of the page under "Account Info"

    3. Once you are on the Account Management page, click the "Change Password" button to be redirected to the change password form

    4. Fill out the form by putting in your current CAE password and what you would like to change it to. Then click "Change Password". (More information on choosing a secure password)

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE CAE PASSWORD POLICIES

Congratulations, you have changed your CAE Password! It may take some time for our systems to update, but you will know that it worked if you can log into my.cae.wisc.edu using your new password.
