Profile Accessibility and Usability Information
This document summarizes the accessibility and usability barriers identified during testing as well as how to get help. UW–Madison Profile offers students, faculty, staff, advisors and instructors a new platform to view, assert, and manage the visibility of personal information, contact information, and demographic data about themselves at UW–Madison.

Accessibility and usability barriers
All accessibility barriers that were identified during the tool's initial accessibility evaluation have been resolved. The list of known issues due to technical limitations can be found in the section below. The Profile team continues to incorporate accessibility testing in ongoing work. If you encounter any barriers, please report them to the Profile team.
Known accessibility barriers
The headings on the accordions within cards, including Data Sources, Related Resources, Accessibility and Usability Resources, should be ranked as level 3, as each card already contains a heading level 2. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, the team is not currently able to implement a solution for the correct heading level order.
