What is Globus?

Globus is a web-based platform for research that supports secure data sharing, big data transfers, and data lifecycle automation. Globus connects many different data storage types together through locally-installed endpoints (computers) that are accessible through the web and shareable through an identity management system (secure login) that allows you to securely share with collaborators at other institutions.

You can use Globus to transfer files stored on your computer. You can also transfer data stored in Box using the Box client, Research Drive, One Drive, Google Drive using Drive for Desktop and others.
