Purpose

1. In conjunction with the Clinical Trial Institute (CTI), the industry-sponsored budget templates have been created in OnCore for ease in use for all industry-sponsored clinical trials to use a standard budget items and rates using the functionality of Protocol Events > Copy Events.

Responsibilities

1. CTI Financial staff determine the appropriate budget items and associated rates.
2. OnCore Business Systems Analyst  maintains the budget items and associated rates within the Charge Source and will update the developed budge templates: SMPH-BUDGET and UWCCC-BUDGET.

Instructions

1. Charge Source updates will be updated per the [Link for document 24791 is unavailable at this time]
2. Budget Templates will be updated with NEW or RETIRED protocol events by the Business Systems Analyst and tracked in JIRA to maintain consistency with the templates.
3. Access is granted to users in the following manner:
   1. UWCCC: Access to Copy Events is determined in the PC Console > Staff 
      1. Listing will be maintained by UWCCC Financial Manager
   2. SMPH: Access to Copy Events is determined by the PC Console > Management Group. Contacts must have the MG level access.
      1. Listing will be maintained by Business System Analyst or CTMS Support staff.
