Cisco Video Conferencing - Others Can't Hear You [Zoom]

This document outlines what to do if others cannot hear you in a Zoom meeting when connected from a Cisco Video Conferencing System touch panel.

When joining a Zoom meeting from a Cisco Video Conferencing System (touch panel), the room may be muted on entry or muted by a host. Determine if your Zoom microphone is muted by looking for the mute symbol in the top right corner of the projector screen.

Unmute Zoom Microphone

  1. In the Zoom meeting screen, tap More
    More
  2. Tap Unmute Zoom microphone to unmute yourself in the meeting; make sure the icon disappears from the projector screen

Toggle Room Microphones

If the above instructions don't resolve the issue, try toggling the room microphones to mute/unmute.
