Do you want to build a Grant?

Internal procedure for Grant and Research Funding Submission

Step 1:  Contact the Chair and Department Administrator to let them know that you plan on submitting a grant or research proposal as soon as feasible to establish a submission timeline.

Step 2:  Work with the Department Administrator to complete the budget portion of the grant.

Step 3. Provide required documents (Full Complete Budget, the rest can be rough drafts, and IRB* approval if already working on prior research) and submission deadline dates to the Department Administrator at a minimum of 12* business days prior to the due date for their review. They will be the liaison between you, SMPH Dean's office, and RSP.

Note: Some Grants will have you submit directly to them, but documents will still need to be uploaded to Ramp for our internal processes to mesh.  In other cases, such as NSF, all documents are submitted to Ramp, then once approved, uploaded by RSP.

Step 4. The Department Administrator will submit all information to Ramp.  Please ensure you have access to email to respond to any question during the submission process.  Per RSP: We request all proposals be routed through your Dean’s Office to RSP five days prior to the due date to allow sufficient time for review and approval.
