Scholarships are awarded by the admissions teams during recruitment of each class. These are funded by Academic Affairs budget dollars, campus programs, UW Foundation gift accounts, and UW Trust gift funds. The scholarship award is for four years or eight semesters per student. Generally, the amount of the scholarship is awarded during recruitment and funding source assigned later following donor intent and, in some cases, Scholarship Committee decisions.
