LCS - Add a custom hostname in Betty Blocks
How to add a custom hostname to a Betty Blocks application.
Adding the Hostname
To add a hostname to an application, follow the following steps:
- navigate to the application in my.bettyblocks.com but do not open it.
- Hit the three dots to the far side of the application and select settings.
- Select to the hostname tab
- Enter the hostname selected for the application.
- This will open up a new section showing a verification value and instructions on adding a TXT record to the domain. Ignore these steps and move to the next step.
- Move directly to completing the steps in (LCS - Request and setup a SSL certificate); part of that process is sending the LCS Team the SSL certificate and hostname via email. A member of the LCS team will open a ticket with Betty Blocks which will get both the domain verified and begin the SSL certificate configuration.
