Bug Reports
- How to debug errors in Betty Blocks: LCS - Debugging Errors in your Betty Blocks Application
Any bugs discovered within the Betty Blocks (BB) platform or individual applications must be reported to the Service Team. After verification of the bug the Service Team will submit a support ticket with BB.
When reporting the bug, please select the Bug/issue reporting radio button on the Low Code Solutions Interest form and include:
- URL of the application
- User’s name and role
- Screenshots of the situation
- Reported behavior vs. Expected behavior
- Time/date of when behavior was first noticed
The Service Team will monitor/review all support tickets.
Feature Requests
Feature Requests must be submitted through the Service Team so that they can be prioritized across all of the UW tenant's needs.
Developers may see the Request a feature option as a menu option under their account. Please don't utilize this option.
When reporting a feature request, please select the Requesting a new feature/enhancement radio button on the Low Code Solutions Interest form and include:
- Where in the platform this request applies
- What is the use case and expected behavior
- Why you are requesting this enhancement/why is it valuable to you
- What is the impact of the current state vs. the requested change
Platform Support/Development Assistance
Questions related to platform capabilities and functionality should be directed to and communicated with the Service Team. Org Admins should notify the Service Team when users report having issues doing things on the platform so that training and help resources can be updated, changed, or developed.
When requesting support, please select the Support for the application I am building radio button on the Low Code Solutions Interest form.
Online Chat
The online chat feature within the BB platform should not be used. To meet UW's and Betty Block's communication and long-term needs, we need to funnel all help, enhancement requests, etc. through the LCS Service Team. Please refer to the other sections in this kb for information about how to get assistance from the Service Team.
