CHM Grants - CHM Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Fund

Process to apply for funding from CHM Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Fund and past awards.

The Center for Healthy Minds recently established the CHM Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Fund with an initial contribution from a generous donor to support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within CHM. The fund is currently targeting professional development support to staff teams of at least three members from CHM. Until we finalize the process for seeking support from this fund, we are asking folks to provide responses to the following questions for consideration of support. Please keep your submission to no more than 1.5 double spaced pages. Please put the date of submission and the name of person submitting on the top of each submission.

  1. What diversity, equity and inclusivity activity is being proposed? Pleased provide a brief description and an explanation of how this activity is about diversity, equity & inclusivity.
  2. Where is the activity being held? (Currently the fund will only support domestic activities)
  3. Who will go from CHM (Teams of at least 3)?
  4. Please include an itemized budget and the total amount you are requesting from the Fund.
  5. What do you think you'll get out of the activity that will enhance your work at CHM?
  6. How will this help CHM advance its focus on diversity, equity and inclusivity?

Support from the CHM Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Fund will not be counted toward the amount currently provided for professional development. This Fund will be used exclusively to enhance the equity, diversity and inclusion commitment of CHM.

Submissions should be sent to:

Brendon Panke bjpanke@wisc.edu

Responses to submission will be sent approximately two weeks after submission date, not including holidays.
