On-campus lectures

There are several lecture series on campus which lab members may find interesting.

Brain and Bagels

Link to their schedule. At the Waisman Center on Fridays at 8:30-9:30am. Bagels and coffee provided.

Topic: Broadly "hearing," which includes auditory perception, Audiology-related topics, and (neuro)biology related to hearing. Speakers come from various departments, but primarily CSD, Neurobiology, Audiology, and Otolaryngology (from the School of Medicine & Public Health).

CSD Prosem

Link to their schedule. A professional development seminar hosted by the Communication Sciences and Disorders department. Mondays at 12:00-1:00 at Goodnight Hall room B62 (in the basement). Pizza and salad from Glass Nickel is provided.

Topic: Anything CSD-related, which includes therapies, voice, disease models in rats, speech motor control :) , and audiology. 

John D. Wiley Seminars

Link to their schedule. At the Waisman Center on Fridays at 12:00-1:00pm. Food often provided.

Topic: "The seminar series features presentations by renowned scientists on topics related to human development, developmental disabilities, and neurodegenerative diseases."

Ling Fridays (Linguistics)

Link to their schedule (see events with "Ling Fridays" name.) Fridays at 3:00-4:00pm; location varies, sometimes online.

Topic: Hosted by the Language Sciences department.
