About eduroam
eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.
eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.

WCER-provided Macs which have Workspace ONE installed (which is virtually all of them) are able to more easily connect to eduroam Wi-Fi because a device profile "macOS eduroam profile" gets automatically installed without user interaction.

Requirements
- A macOS computer, enrolled in Workspace ONE (i.e., provided by WCER)
NOTE: If you have a personally-owned or other Mac which was not provided by WCER you can still use eduroam, but you will need to follow the DoIT Help Desk instructions provided here to install and configure the necessary profile. - An active NetID and university email account.
Connecting to eduroam
Click on the Wi-Fi icon within the Mac menu bar and select eduroam from the list of available networks.
Users are prompted for an Account Name and Password when connecting to eduroam for the first time.
Enter these in the format '[NetID]@wisc.edu' and '[NetID password]' and press the OK button to connect.
