Our benefits are primarily administered by Employee Trust Funds (ETF). Historically, UW-Madison has not had a representative on their Group Insurance Board, but we have been active in providing feedback related to benefits and advocating for employees. Employees can also contact ETF to provide feedback or ask questions.
OHR gathered data on services provided to UW-Madison employees by LifeMatters to understand the utilization of the service. We currently have one more year on our existing contract with LifeMatters.
The Office of Equity, Inclusion & Employee Well-Being has curated a number of resources on their website related to caregiving, and they want to continue building resources in this area.
The Title and Total Compensation project will officially end on June 30. Learning and Talent Development will continue to work on employee resources for professional development and the Compensation Center of Excellence will continue to work on compensation strategies. OHR is investigating opportunities through the Well Wisconsin program, and hopes to bring enhanced programs in the benefits realm to campus in the next 1-2 years.
