iOS (iPad) - Trouble Connecting to Wireless UWNet Prior to iOS 4.2

Some iPad users reported trouble logging in to Wireless UWNet on the iPad when using a version of iOS prior to 4.2. This has subsequently been resolved by Apple in more recent releases of iOS. If users are using an older version of iOS, they may still encounter this issue.
Note that this is an issue that occurred prior to iOS 4.2. Users are strongly encouraged to update to a recent version of iOS. If it is necessary to use an older version of iOS, see the following information for how to resolve the issue.

If Autofill is enabled for usernames and passwords (this is not the default setting), Safari will hang when trying to login to Wireless UWNet.

To disable the Autofill:

    1. Select Settings from the Home Screen.
