Adding Printer Code to Canon Printers
Process to remember printer codes on Windows computers
- Open Control Panel
- Click on "View devices and Printers"
- Find the printer and right click on the printer - Select Printer properties
- Go to the Device Settings Tab
- Under Department ID Management click Settings
- In the Department ID section put in the printer code used by your department
Also uncheck "Confirm Department ID/PIN When Printing"
Repeat the process for both the Black and White and Color printer settings.
