Requesting an SSCC Account

This document explains how to request an SSCC account in order to access computing resources and applications which are hosted on SSCC server environment.

About SSCC

The Social Science Computing Cooperative (SSCC) offers access to computing resources including applications, training, and support for its members in the UW-Madison community. A few examples of the applications provided include: NVivo Server, SPSS, R, and Stata. Applications are added as needs and interests arise.

Requesting an Account

WCER and School of Education members who want to access SSCC resources should:

  1. Go to this web page:
    Request an SSCC Account (wisc.edu)
    https://www.ssc.wisc.edu/sscc_jsp/account/new.js

  2. Fill out the form, being sure to select School of Education under the Agency Affiliation section.

  3. Wait for confirmation and then follow any instructions provided.
