App Catalog Decommissioning - Steps for iPhone & iPad Owners

Instructions for UW App Catalog to Hub migration are detailed below. Issues with this sign-in process or issues post-migration should be escalated to US-DS SEAM. In the ticket, please include the managed device's phone number (iPhone) or serial number (iPad) found in Settings > General > About.

Informational:

The UW App Catalog is being phased out by our vendor. The Hub app, already installed on your device, replaces the UW App Catalog but requires a one-time authentication with your NetID & NetID password. After signing in, you can use the Hub to install apps. 

If you run into any issues signing into the Hub app, have questions, OR if after signing in your list of installed apps changes please contact the DoIT Help Desk:


Procedure:

1. Launch the Hub app.

   OR   

2. Several popups may appear for Bluetooth & location sharing. The recommended selections are below but you are free to choose the options that best fit your preferences. These can later be changed in the Settings app.

3. A Privacy Policy page will appear. Tap "I Understand" at the bottom of the screen.

4. A Data Sharing page will appear. Tap either "I Agree" or "Not Now".

5. A login screen will appear. Enter your NetIDNetID password and then tap the "Sign in" button.

6. A "create passcode" prompt will appear. It is highly recommended to use the same passcode that unlocks your device.

7. When prompted to allow notifications, tap "Allow".

8. Done! It may take some time for the Hub to finish configuring. You can close the Hub while it configures. Once complete, the self-service app catalog can be found near the bottom right corner inside the Hub app.
