Why does forwarding an email cause design and formatting issues?

It is actually not Eloqua that "adjusts" the formatting on the email that gets forwarded but rather our friends at Outlook/Microsoft. Once the email leaves Eloqua and lands in the inbox, it is no longer able to be manipulated by Eloqua. Forwarding formatting issues can happen to any html email.

You can send a link to the "view on web" version, but that does take presence of mind and more steps than just forwarding. Wish we had a better fix for this, but forwarding is kind of an industry "no-no" these days with permissions, CAN-SPAM, data tracking for contacts not in the database, etc. etc.
